An evening botanical kit built on three authenticated whole dried-plant powders: lemon balm leaf, passionflower aerial parts and German chamomile flower. Each is supplied in the plant form rather than as an extract, which is what keeps a food-category prototype defensible.
Magnesium, glycine, L-theanine, taurine, phosphatidylserine and zinc are all supplied too — added isolates have no clean general-beverage pathway in Australia. Forge publishes no starting formula. Working out which of these a real product could actually carry, and at what dose inside the limits on this page, is the exercise.
This is not a retail food product. Kits are not for sale to the general public. These products are only sold to businesses, founders, and entrepreneurs who are evaluating commercial products.

Forge gives you no starting formula and no suggested dose — that judgement is yours. What it does give you is where Australian food law stops. These are daily maximums, not recommendations: staying under them is a requirement, reaching them is not a target.

Forge kits produce prototypes — approximately 60% of a commercial product. What’s missing is intentional: professional flavour optimisation, FSANZ-aligned compliance review, final batch documentation, and commercial-scale production tolerances. That work belongs at MHS.

- 01 / 03 Adults only. Prepare in at least 300 mL of water and stay within the daily limits above.
- 02 / 03 Three botanicals with possible sedating effects are combined here and no human study exists on this exact combination. Do not use before driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
- 03 / 03 Passionflower should not be used in pregnancy. The evaluation isolates — glycine, magnesium, theanine, taurine, phosphatidylserine, zinc — are formulation-development materials, not a stack to take together.
